  • Indoor plants have made such a comeback that you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d stepped back into the 70s. But just how many different planters can one own or buy? Instead, why not make your own with wool, cord and tassels like these cute mini hanging planters by Oh Lovely Bows? The only thing extra you need is a glue gun. Find out how here.
  • Having said to myself, ‘I must cut down on my chocolate consumption’ – so far with limited success – I couldn’t resist the eye candy of chocolate baking. Broma Bakery succeeds in taking mouth-watering photography as much as making mouth-watering food. These Salted Caramel Nutella Chocolate Cups ooze decadence and are in no way about reducing your chocolate intake! Learn how to make them at Broma Bakery.
  • I’d never heard of flower incense bundles before but I’m liking the sound of them. You make charcoal sticks and need an assortment of dried flowers for an aromatic floral smell. Looks intriguing. Anyone game to make them? Find out how at Poppytalk.
  • I was so impressed with my business partner’s gardening handiwork that I had to share it with you. Meryl managed to hunt down at our local tip and recycling centre, Kimbriki, an old claw bath and knew just the place for it. Not in her bathroom but in the corner of her garden. Using a truckload of succulent soil – 150 litres to be precise – and small white stones, she filled it with an assortment of succulents. Too easy.
